QEEG Brain Mapping

An electroencephalogram (EEG) records electrical activity and brainwave frequencies that are representative of underlying cortical brain activity. A quantitative EEG (QEEG), used by Sunshine Neurofeedback, applies sophisticated mathematical and statistical analysis to compare EEG results to age- and gender-controlled norms. This painless process involves the patient being fitted with a cap that reads electrical impulses across primary regions of the brain. The patient sits comfortably in a recliner while mapping occurs, first with the eyes closed, then with the eyes open. The process takes between 15-20 minutes to complete.
